Ours is unique project because nothing like this is running in the country. We will search for exceptional, high I.Q. kids from different orphanages. We will raise them from age 6 through age 18. These destitute kids will find their love in the teachers and host families. They will lose their feeling of deprivation and acquire a prestigious position in the society. They will go through a program of extensive learning and physical health giving them an edge over other age fellows. No such program is going on in the country, and if it is going on, still the better. It is OUR small undertaking but may serve as a model for other noble investors.

The laboratory teaching program is even more unique. Learning through hands on experiments and field activities is a well proven method of success. Using simple local materials and innovative ways, we hope to devise hundreds of experiments in physics, chemistry and biology. Kids of middle and high schools will have an experience of real learning. Again nowhere in the country such teaching is going on.

MEETING EXPENSES.

This project will be run on the basis of no profit no loss. To meet monthly expenses, there is need of uninterrupted . Self sufficiency is the way to go. Orphan project would cost about Rupees 200,000 a month. This is equivalent to US $2500. To earn income, we will operate a hostel for boys. There are lot of college going boys looking for room and board. In our estimate, this will balance budget for orphan project.
We need further income to run the ambitious laboratory teaching project. This lab operation will require additional $2500 a month. Rather than depending on donations, we plan to start the following activities to raise funds.
1-Charge some fee for utilizing lab facilities.
2-Start a science teaching academy based on fees.
3-Provide meals and snacks to hostel residents making some income.
4-Start a small bakery, use kids labor and earn income from sales.
5-Run short laboratory courses to train science teachers and lab technicians.
6-Set up science laboratories for other schools earning some income.

There may still be need to solicit donations for continuation, improvement and expansion of the project.

Three aims:

1. Raising and educating 50 plus orphan and destitute kids to the level of professionals.
2. Providing extensive laboratory education to kids of nearby schools and colleges.
3. To establish extra ordinary academy or school for science education.

SOURCES OF INCOME.

It would be non-profit undertaking. Monthly expenses would be at least $5000 a month. No one is going to give us donations until we show them the project in action and quality of the product. It would take couple of years starting September, 2011. We will start a money making business of a small hostel for college students. Eventually we will revert to sole purpose of education. Bashir Akil is the person supplying land and money for the initial building.

RAISING FUNDS.

1. Donations would be welcome and there would be concerted effort to raise funds. But we expect little response in the first two years. After showing our capabilities and output, there may be attractive inflow of funds from government and private agencies.
2. Running a student hostel on site with facility of cafeteria. From 100 students, we expect monthly income of about two lakh rupees. Orphan students will be lodged free of cost.
3. Establish a small bakery. Student labor will be used. Let us expect a monthly income of fifty thousand rupees. Orphan students and regular students will benefit from this facility.
4. Tuition Academy. This may earn up to fifty thousand rupees a month.
5. Science laboratory may also give some good income. Main aim is to impart subsidized education..

CONSTRUCTION UNDERWAY.

All the buildings will be three storey. There will be basement with two floors above. The roof will also be used for some activities. We have only three kanal land measuring 150 feet by 90 feet. As of April, 2011, we have already constructed a three floor building on 1125 square feet area. The construction of the second building on 2800 square feet is well under way on May 25, 2011. Funds are very limited and extreme care is being taken, not to waste a penny.
